- LISC Small Business Relief Grants – The Local Initiatives Support Corporation, known as LISC, is providing grants to support small businesses and enterprises affected the COVID-19 across the country, especially those in underserved communities, including entrepreneurs of color, women- and veteran-owned businesses that often lack access to flexible, affordable capital. - Beauty Changes Lives is providing $1,000 grants to beauty professionals or students of beauty programs, whose lives and/or businesses have been negatively impacted by the mandated closures in response to COVID-19. Nail professionals, barbers, cosmetologists, estheticians, massage therapists, and students are all invited to apply. Click here for more information or to apply.
- The Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA)/Vogue Fashion Fund is offering grant awards up to $100,000 per recipient to support small businesses in the fashion industry that are facing pandemic-related financial hardship. Click here for more information or to apply.
- Business for All is distributing grants up to $50,000 to support business growth, including $10,000 emergency grants that are being distributed immediately to small business owners impacted by the coronavirus. Click here for more information or to apply.
- Spanx is making 1,000 grants of $5,000 each available to female entrepreneurs in the U.S. to assist in alleviating the financial impact of this crisis. Click here for more information or to apply.
- GoFundMe’s Small Business Relief Initiative and Fund will issue $500 matching grants to businesses that raise $500 on GoFundMe. Click here for more information or to apply.
- Facebook will be providing grants to 10,000 U.S. small businesses from their $40 million fund. Click here for more information or to apply.
- digitalundivided is providing small yet swift $100 micro investment funds to Black Women Entrepreneurs. Click here for more information or to apply.
We have also been able to locate a few regional programs:
- Restaurants and bars in Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties can apply here for immediate financial assistance from the South Beach Wine & Food Festival & FIU Chaplin School Hospitality Industry Relief Fund.
- Montgomery County, Maryland’s Economic Development Corporation (MCEDC) Local Production Fund is providing working capital for small businesses to make pandemic-related items. Click here for more information or to apply.
- The Community and Economic Development Initiative of Kentucky (CEDIK) is offering up to $3,000 in grant funds to businesses in the dining or experience retail sectors that includes the arts, tourism, accommodations, and entertainment. Click here for more information or to apply.
- Miami-Dade County’s Economic Advocacy Trust (MDEAT) is awarding Small Business Grants valued at $2,500 each to eligible small businesses. Click here for more information or to apply.
- Pinellas County, Florida is providing personal and business grants of up tp $5,000 to their residents. Click here for more information or to apply.
- Through its Texas Small Business Emergency Micro-Grant Source, the Texas Black Expo is issuing eligible businesses $1,000 each in grant funds. Click here for more information or to apply.
- The United Way in Miami and the Miami Herald have launched the Miami Pandemic Response Fund. The fund will issue micro-grants to small businesses and provide financial support to families in need. Click here for more information or to apply
- The Raleigh Small Business COVID-19 Relief Fund is providing grant funds up to $10,000 to eligible businesses located in Raleigh. Click here for more information or to apply.
- Denver’s Small Business Emergency Relief Program is offering relief funds of up to $7,500. Click here for more information or to apply.
- The Philadelphia Emergency Fund for Stabilization of Early Education (PEFSEE) will provide grant funds of up to $20,000 to businesses in the early learning sector. Click here for more information or to apply.
- Illinois is providing working capital funds of up to $25,000 to eligible community businesses. Click here for more information or to apply.
- Kansas’ Greater Topeka Partnership’s emergency relief fund provides grants up to $5000 each to eligible businesses. Click here for more information or to apply.
- Amazon’s $5 million Neighborhood Small Business Relief Fund is providing cash grants to Seattle small businesses that need assistance. Click here for more information or to apply.
